LFCIA SoCal’s Return to Play with the SoCal League!

March 20th marked the start of the Spring 2021 season for the Southern California Developmental Soccer League (SCDSL) along with a new name for the league- the SoCal league.

This weekend, LFCIA SoCal competed against top teams in the SoCal League as part of “the largest league in one of America’s top hotbeds of player development,” according to Soccer Today’s report of the SoCal League’s rebranding.

“The SoCal [League] will have over 38,000 competitive youth soccer players and that is a conservative number”

Michelle Chesters, SoCal’s Director of Operations

The SoCal League carries out the mission to foster the growth and development of each individual athlete to reach their full potential!

LFCIA’s commitment to foster the development of each athlete is an essential part of our programming efforts.

LFCIA SoCal CEO, Tim Woodcock, shares, “It has been a long wait, but it is an extremely proud moment for myself, our staff and our entire organization to see almost 1200 youth players take the field wearing the authentic Liverpool FC uniforms. We set our standards extremely high and it is a great honor to represent the Premier League Champions in Southern California. Good luck to all teams this season.”

We had an amazing time out on the pitch last weekend in the SoCal League’s inaugural games of the Spring Season!
